The answer in plain English
An ETF quote is for one unit of the specified security. It is not automatically a per-gram jewellery price, a spot bullion price or a promise that you can trade any quantity at the last price. A chart can also adjust for splits or other unit changes, so match the instrument and series before comparing old levels.
What to check
- Match the full name, exchange ticker and ISIN.
- Read the quote date, time and whether the market is open; weekends and holidays can show a previous close.
- Use the offer for an immediate buy comparison and the bid for a sale comparison, with available quantity.
- Read NAV as portfolio value at its valuation date, not as a guaranteed exchange execution price.
A useful comparison
| Displayed number | Meaning | Check |
|---|---|---|
| Last traded price | Most recent completed trade | Trade timestamp and volume |
| Bid / offer | Current displayed buying/selling quotes | Quantity and possible movement |
| NAV | Net scheme value per unit | Valuation date and plan/security |
| Price chart | History of a selected series | Adjustments, dates and return basis |
Make the distinction clear
Illustration: if the last trade was ₹100 but the current offer is ₹100.30, a buyer cannot assume ₹100 execution from the last-trade display alone. These are hypothetical figures, not live market data. For Gold BeES, verify NSE ticker GOLDBEES and ISIN INF204KB17I5 through the official scheme and exchange sources below; do not confuse it with a different similarly named security.
Dated NAV reference — not an exchange trade quote
The following values come from the official AMFI snapshot retrieved on 17 October 2026. They are NAVs at the stated record dates, not live bid/offer prices. A quote or price-chart question still requires the exchange timestamp, instrument and series. Later changes are not automatically reflected in this saved guide.
| Scheme | NAV per unit in AMFI record | Valuation date |
|---|---|---|
| 360 ONE Gold ETF | ₹141.7531 | 16-Oct-2026 |
| Aditya Birla Sun Life Gold ETF | ₹127.7008 | 16-Oct-2026 |
| ANGEL ONE GOLD ETF | ₹13.5668 | 16-Oct-2026 |

One final question before acting
Does the figure or document match the exact scheme, plan, option, period and purpose in your question? Keep the source date with the answer. For a real transaction or personal decision, the current scheme documents and your own records take priority over a saved educational example.
