The answer in plain English

An ETF quote is for one unit of the specified security. It is not automatically a per-gram jewellery price, a spot bullion price or a promise that you can trade any quantity at the last price. A chart can also adjust for splits or other unit changes, so match the instrument and series before comparing old levels.

What to check

  • Match the full name, exchange ticker and ISIN.
  • Read the quote date, time and whether the market is open; weekends and holidays can show a previous close.
  • Use the offer for an immediate buy comparison and the bid for a sale comparison, with available quantity.
  • Read NAV as portfolio value at its valuation date, not as a guaranteed exchange execution price.

Make the distinction clear

Illustration: if the last trade was ₹100 but the current offer is ₹100.30, a buyer cannot assume ₹100 execution from the last-trade display alone. These are hypothetical figures, not live market data. For Gold BeES, verify NSE ticker GOLDBEES and ISIN INF204KB17I5 through the official scheme and exchange sources below; do not confuse it with a different similarly named security.

Dated NAV reference — not an exchange trade quote

The following values come from the official AMFI snapshot retrieved on 17 October 2026. They are NAVs at the stated record dates, not live bid/offer prices. A quote or price-chart question still requires the exchange timestamp, instrument and series. Later changes are not automatically reflected in this saved guide.

One final question before acting

Does the figure or document match the exact scheme, plan, option, period and purpose in your question? Keep the source date with the answer. For a real transaction or personal decision, the current scheme documents and your own records take priority over a saved educational example.
