Understand the weights and changes
A change from 8% to 10% is 2 points higher. An earlier 0.00% means no positive stock position was reported in the reviewed baseline. “Not comparable” means the earlier filing is missing or needs review. Price moves, cash flows and trades can all change weights.

THE DATA, WITHOUT THE GUESSWORK
Know exactly what you are looking at.
Built 28 Oct 2026, 05:36 AM IST. Monthly AMC portfolio disclosures from the existing MF Analyser source feed, normalized into this site’s MySQL research dataset.
What counts as one fund?
One underlying portfolio code per disclosure date. Equivalent source category labels are grouped into readable categories; underlying filing records are retained. Direct, Regular, Growth and IDCW variants share the same holdings and are counted once. Equity positions use exact ISINs; derivatives, fund units, debt and cash are excluded from stock ownership.
What does a sector shift mean?
A difference in the percentage of a fund’s NAV assigned to the sector, averaged equally across the same funds. A rise from 8% to 10% is +2 percentage points, not a 2% investment return. Price changes and cash flows can change weights without a trade.
How are missing or questionable rows handled?
Review-flagged equity rows, ambiguous duplicate ISINs and weights that fail reconciliation are excluded from reviewed comparisons. Unmapped sectors stay Unclassified. Sector changes additionally require all disclosed equity sectors classified at both dates. Pairs where a continuing stock changes sector classification are excluded, so a taxonomy change is not mistaken for a fund allocation change. Missing months never become a zero baseline.
Is this the whole Indian mutual-fund market?
No. Results cover the AMC disclosures loaded into the existing database and passing these checks. The month-specific counts below describe that coverage. Monthly holdings are not real-time positions. Results are research observations, not personalized recommendations.

“Reviewed” means the automated source-row checks passed; it does not imply an independent audit of each AMC filing. Very small source weights reported as zero are outside positive-position counts. Snapshot 2 · taxonomy nse-sector-rollup-2026-10-20.1.
