Questions behind this topic

Does owning more mutual funds always improve diversification?

No. Additional funds can repeat the same underlying companies or sectors. Look through the scheme names to weighted security exposure, each fund’s role and the risks they share. Diversification is about the resulting portfolio, rather than simply the number of accounts or fund houses.

Are monthly portfolio disclosures a live view of holdings?

No. They report a portfolio at a stated disclosure date. Holdings can change after that snapshot, and different schemes may have different available dates. State the comparison period and coverage before drawing conclusions from overlap, sector weights or a consolidated portfolio calculation.
